Cambridge Cleaning Services provides commercial cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning, carpet cleaning and deep cleaning across Cambridge and Cambridgeshire. What we collect
When you submit our contact form we collect your name, email address, telephone number, how you found us, the type of job, the size of the property and anything you write in the message field.
If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, we hold that correspondence and the contact details you used.
Our website also collects standard technical information through cookies and analytics, including your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.
Why we collect it, and our lawful basis
We use your contact details and job information to prepare a quote and respond to your enquiry. Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interests — you have approached us asking for a quote, and we cannot provide one without it.
If you go on to book, we use the same information to carry out the work, arrange access and invoice you. The lawful basis is performance of a contract.
We keep records of completed work and invoices to meet our accounting and tax obligations. The lawful basis is legal obligation.
Analytics cookies are used only where you have consented.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Records relating to completed work and invoices are kept for six years, as required by HMRC. Website analytics data is retained according to the settings in Google Analytics.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing purposes.
We share it only with service providers who help us run the business: our website host, our email provider, our analytics provider and our accountant. Each processes data on our instructions.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to.
